Lynn Ingmire, SPHR, is the Vice President of  Human Resources/Benefits for Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives (Kentucky statewide)/United Utility Supply/Rural Cooperatives Credit Union in Louisville, Kentucky.  She has been with KAEC/UUS/RCCU since 2000 where she is responsible for all areas of HR for their 240 employees located in 6 states.  She also serves as liaison to the Kentucky Electric Cooperatives HR Association, consisting of HR professionals from the member cooperatives in Kentucky.  Prior to working at KAEC, she was Owner/President of HR Essentials, LLC – consulting company working with small companies in the Louisville area.  Her first position in the HR profession was Director of Personnel for a proprietary education corporation in 1980.    During her career, she has also worked in two different manufacturing, production, distribution companies, both large corporations and family owned businesses, union and non-union.  She holds a Bachelors Degree from University of Louisville.  She has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 1999. 

Lynn has been an active member of Louisville SHRM since 1980, having served in various chair and director positions, including facilitating the certification study group and Essentials of HR Management.   Lynn was President of her Louisville chapter in 2006.  Currently she is the Director of Workforce Readiness, as well as facilitating the Essentials of HR Management program again in 2009.  She is also Director of Professional Development and the Certification Director with the KY SHRM State Council.

Lynn is currently serving on the HR Committee of the Board of Directors for Boy’s and Girl’s Haven in Louisville as well as the HR Advisory Committee for the National Rural Cooperative Association.  She recently joined the planning committee for the Lupus Walk for Louisville 2010.  Lynn has also taught various HR certification classes at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky in their Adult Education Division.
